Below are common questions you may have about massage or our policies at The Body Spot. Please contact us if you have further questions or are in need of more information.


What can I expect my first visit?

Your massage therapist will greet you when you arrive. Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early. You’ll be asked to fill out a massage intake form. Fill this form out to the best of your ability so we can provide a massage catered to your individual needs. Feel free to ask your massage therapist any questions you may have when you arrive. If you experience discomfort of any kind at during the massage please let the massage therapist know immediately and adjustments will be made.


Do I need to undress for my massage?

You will be asked to undress to your level of comfort for most of our massage services. Many of our clients choose to undress fully while others choose to keep on some or all of their clothing. You will have the opportunity to undress and get on the massage table in complete privacy. You will be professionally draped with sheets during the entire length of the massage. If you feel uncomfortable with the draping at any point please let your massage therapist know immediately.


What happens if I arrive late?

Life happens and sometimes things get in the way of arriving on time for an appointment. While we value you as a customer we also ask that you value the time of our service providers and other clients. If late arrival is inevitable, your service will be shortened in order for us to stay on scheduleĀ and the original treatment cost will be charged.


What happens if I need to cancel?

We ask that you please give us 24hrs notice for cancellations. Appointments cancelled within 24hrs will be subject to a 50% service charge. We thank you in advance for your understanding as we may not be able to rebook the scheduled time slot with such short notice.


What happens if I don’t show up for my appointment?

We realized that sometimes scheduled appointments may be forgotten about or missed for unseen circumstances. Please note that you will be subject to a 100% service charge if you do not contact us to cancel. We thank you in advance for valuing the time of our service providers.
